A selection from the latest Natalie Douglas concert, Café Society -- an evening dedicated to the music of the '30s and '40s and the brilliant, brave people behind the original Café Society, the first US nightclub to integrate its audiences. Recorded April 14, 2008 at the legendary jazz club Birdland in NYC, the show was created by seven time MAC award winner Natalie Douglas with her musical director, Avenue Q's Mark Hartman. With Natalie's Broadway All Star band: Michael Croiter on drums, Patience Higgins on tenor saxophone & Debbie Kennedy on bass.
