@JKZD Exactly what he said. He tightened the threaded shock body to pre load the rear springs so that it would squat less on acceleration and hopefully jump more consistently. If your car doesn't have threaded shock bodies you use spacers.

I've heard it was a great buggy out of the box. Although all other vids usually cut out the part were it breaks. I have a b4.1. It did the same thing easy fix though. Thx for bein honest.

Thank you for posting this video , I'm planning to purchase a a buggy or truggy from either associated or losi. After watching this though..though associated looks really uncordinated and just not as fine tuned as a losi coming from standard. Think i might be going with losi afterall lol..

that car isn't complete stock is it cause the rc8 is the rtr 1 right and they have different motors

@JKZD i think it is to do with the shocks, you can add spacers and take them out, change shock oil, and remove and put holes in the shock piston to adjust preload, and dampening. i think. lol.

@ajhill1993 a good racing for , which dont cost so much is the robitronic mantis 1/8 rtr. you get it for 350€ and its pretty good and easy to drive. recommend it!

the box that holds electronics is so small u have collect small batteries to fit it in with all the wires

i got the rc8 just yesterday.herd its a great car
im getting into this hobby and so far i have a revo 3.3 and a vxl rustler but i wanna get into racing on a track, is this a good car to start off with? if it isnt can you give me some other good begginer cars? i would really appreciate it

Go to your local RC club and ask what they drive and what they recommend.
