  • Dallas Cowboys ftw!!

  • @Razor099684 sorry, i had it backwards. 2 81's in the 400. 81/85 in the 401. i switched mine around cause the 85 sounds better in the bridge and i was using the 400 more at the time. so i guess i confused myself. i have a 85/60 setup in my white 401 now. gold hardware. wilkinson roller bridge and solderless emgs. about to paint my 400 zebra! haha. should be a grand ol time

  • @theRev767 wtf 401 has emg 81 and 85 dont write something when you dont know what your talking about

  • i have two of these guitars. a white 401 and a Satin Black 401 (was red, had to sand and paint myself) and they are awesome! they tilt a little to the neck, but its overall a great guitar, sounds good clean. the 401's come with 2 emg 81s. that might be the difference (400 comes with 81/85). and the white 401 has a white head stock. i still want the ec-1000 cause its thinner and comes in vintage black

  • What makes the 401's or viper 500's different form 400's or 300fm's?is it a baritione line?

  • @4142Wilb The action on your guitar is too low. Get it raised and you won't have that problem anymore.

  • It's a nice guitar, I got one too but it sucks that the strings really scrap the frets when you strum and palm mute...

  • Yes a black beauty

  • does that guitar have a glossy black finish?

  • Both are great guitars, the EC neck is a lil bit more for rythm than lead, this one i find it more confortable for soloing.
