Location:
This hotel is located between the Gironde river and the Atlantic coast, in the famous wine region of Medoc. It lies some 40 minutes from Bordeaux city centre, around 45 minutes from Bordeaux St Jean (TGV train station) and approximately 30 minutes from Bordeaux-Mérignac airport.

Facilities:
This conference and resort hotel offers its guests unique infrastructure and service and comprises a total of 100 rooms. The estate was created by Vincent de Cantenac and was in the property of a great Bordelaise family for more than one century. Attached to Margaux Castle until 1984, the Vincent estate was then transformed into a country house in 1985, preserving the intimacy of the old family home and combining it with modern comfort and luxury. Guests are welcomed in the lobby area with its 24-hour reception, hotel safe and lift access. In addition to conference facilities and a restaurant, there is a games room, Internet access (charges apply), bicycle rental (for an additional fee) and parking. Guests are also invited to take advantage of the room and laundry services.

Rooms:
The guestrooms are decorated in warm, cosy Bordeaux style and are comfortable, spacious and quiet. The Club rooms (30m²) are located in the central part of the hotel, whereas the peaceful Harmonie rooms, featuring a mix of contemporary and traditional style, are located in the new wing close to the spa centre (37m²). Six are connecting rooms, ideal for families. The suites are 70 m² and are situated at the far end of the different wings of the building. They offer plenty of space with a bedroom and a sitting room and all feature unique views. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer as well as satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a minibar, an ironing set, a double bed, central or individual air conditioning and heating and a safe.

Sports/Entertainment:
The hotel features its own spa centre where guests may recover their sense of well-being and a balance between mind and body. They may enjoy being pampered from head to toe by expert hands (masseurs, physiotherapists, osteopaths and beauticians), or diving into the heated pool, under a starry sky, surrounded by wood and stone design features. Among the treatments available are hot stone therapy, Californian massage, Shiatsu, Indian massage, water massages, hydrotherapy baths, spa jets (multi-sensory cocoon) and seaweed wraps as well as a Moorish area (sauna, Turkish bath), a solarium, a gym and a diet restaurant with outstanding views over the golf course and Gironde. The hotel offers guests a range of leisure activities including an 18-hole golf course designed by Olivier Dongradi and situated in the 90-acre grounds in addition to a driving range, tennis, cycling, billiards, quad-biking and archery. The nearest wine Chateaux, where wine-tasting visits may be organised, is only a few minutes from the hotel. The hotel's Chef de Cuisine can also offer cookery classes.

Meals:
The Head Chef, offers guests a refined and traditional cuisine inspired by local products. Located in one of the old cellars, and featuring large bay windows with direct access to the terrace, the restaurant has the atmosphere of a warm and cosy family dining room, where stone walls tone in with the fine silver and glassware. The exceptional wine list includes prestigious wines from the Bordeaux region such as the Château Margaux, Château Rauzan-Ségla and the Château Latour. The Brasserie is located in the new wing of the spa centre and offers a magical view of the golf course and Gironde river.

Payment:
American Express, Diners Club, JCB, MasterCard and VISA are accepted at this hotel.

Misc.:
The hotel's restaurant is open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, on Saturday evenings and for Sunday lunches. The Brasserie is open every day for lunch and dinner from 12 noon until 10 pm. This establishment features its own helicopter landing platform.
