I remember this commercial. I think this was a burn to the Dale Jr. fans who hate Jeff Gordon. lol I honestly like both drivers a lot, but Jeff's better, hands down. This NASCAR season sucked, though, 'cause neither of them won a Cup race. Jr. won at Daytona in the #3 car, but that was Nationwide.

4 years later he's only won one (points race) race in 08 at Michigan and last years gatorade 125

@88fanforlife Of course remember, you've still got the TNT Summer series, and ESPN's races before the chase. There's still 13 races left 'til the chase: and that's plenty of racing before the chase starts. You've also gotta believe that Denny Hamlin, Jeff Gordon, and (dare I say it) Kyle Busch would all be making themselves contenders. Plus, I think Kurt might be a sleeper too. Before the chase though, I wanna see guys like Paul Menard or AJ Allmendinger win their 1st like Regan Smith did.

@nascarfanatic2425 i think its more between kevin, jimmie, and carl, jr is having a year like harvick had last year, i think harvick is gonna win it all this year which would be cool because he is still in the old #3

@88fanforlife Definetly. This has been a Dale Jr. year so far, but Junebug needs to keep this up. I'm very, very anxious for someone to finally beat the #48, even though he's Jeff's driver. I prefer it to be either Jeff, Dale Jr., or Mark Martin, but Mark's not looking so hot right now, and Jeff's been on a little bit of a cold streak. I believe it'll be a 4-man race for the title this year: Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, and Dale Jr.

@nascarfanatic2425 if he becomes champion the sport would explode with popularity, but i think that would be more safe to say next year, he will contend this year though i think

@88fanforlife Right. It's no longer a question of if Jr. still can do it, it's when will it happen. He's already had two straight runner ups. Wouldn't it be cool if Jr. was the NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion? (Even though that might be going overboard.)
