I've been playing music for about 26 years now...the string portion of this song near the end was one of the first things i attempted to learn on my first little casio keyboard before I knew what the hell I was doing...I did somehow figure it out though...kind of nostalgic coming back to some of the musical roots...but at the time, I guess being 10 years old I never really noticed that the song was all about getting laid and corrupting the innocence of my childhood:)

i was 16 years old ,just gottin my first car and headed to tampa,fl to see whitesnake and greatwhite ,what a freakin concert ,no assigned seats ,first come to the front ,bad ass ,with my 2 buddies allen b and rob g,miss all the great trips and parties ......

confession time, i've always been one of those " to cool for school" indy assholes, even when this first came out. but as a singer and songwriter i got to admit, this cat could and still can fucking SING. i mean really really sing. and it's a great song, great writing, great musicians. yea, it's a bit cheesy for my snobby tastes but whenever it comes on i crank it.. and try to to sing along on the down low.
