My grandma has alzheimer and she is also very depressed getting medicines for depression. Today she forget how to get home from the shop thats near where she lives (old peoples home). I dont know whats worst dementia or the depression. Lots of time she is so sad and angry, She also hides her bag because she now thinks we want to steal it.

It's likely that it comes from the medications that older folks use. The preservatives in various medications could be a factor. Older folks use more medications, so they are at risk more so than the average person.
