This wheel was constructed about 6 months ago and is planned as a temporary attraction while the new pier is being constructed after the old one burnt down.

Luckily there was no queue for the wheel today. It costs £5 per person (luckily you can pay by credit card) and the ride takes about 8 minutes (4 revolutions per ride).

It is owned and operated by World Tourist Attractions.

The capsules hold a maximum of 6 adults & 2 children and the rules stipulate that you must not swing the capsule whilst on the wheel, nor must any persons be under the infuence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Known as "The Wheel of Excellence"

It was very windy at the highest point of the ride and you can hear the wind whistle round the capsules.

Filmed on my mobile phone a Samsung G600 and edited in Avidemux using Ubuntu Intrepid
