hmm it shouldent say that, check what version of camtasia your using and what version on windows, and if it doesnt work try resseting the settings.

How does the free trial work for this? Does it make you uninstall the trial or does it just tell you to (sorta like WinRAR)

I believe it tells you, you should try a free trial anyway it is a VERY good product.
