Interpretively this is far better than Michalangeli , who is too harsh in striking those chords and the pedaling is way too clean for a piece called REFLECTIONS IN THE WATER. his interpretation is a travesty of the impressionism of DEBUSSY

Very nicely played except I wish as much rubato was used in the first pages as in the last 2 pages. There were several missed notes and the biggest thing is the opening chord trios should be tenuto and blend from one to another.

Because she plays really well and she deserves it.

But, of course, she didn't want to be compared with such a legendary pianist like michelangeli.

I actually think this one is better than Michelangeli's. His is too clean cut. It's kind of a contradicting reason, but we live in a world where perfect doesn't exist. Anything unbelievably close sounds almost foreign. That's how I'd describe Michelangeli's performance: too perfect.

This one is just right.
