  • is that a hairpeice ?

  • @raedwulfone I prefer that style of tank to the others... it's an older style but used on the later Tridents for some reason. Sweet bike what exhaust is it?

I have to ride a triple. My neighbor had a Trident when I was in high school, 1980... and I couldn't really see the third cylinder I was so confused.... but I'll never forget it. 30 years later I bought my first triple!!!

    Once you go triple...

    Cut paste Google.

The Definitive Ode to Triumph Sprint 955i movie (with Powermax exhaust)

  • @MrLipyeart how can you tell if a truimph is the american or british spec? i have a 73 trident but im not entirely sure which one it is, plus its my first bike so im still in the learning process lol. it changes gears on the right side as british bikes do but im told that dont mean its a british spec bike. its also a 5 speed.

  • nice job, tridents are fun to ride and easier to service than a twin in my opinion, set the carbs up with vacum gauges(drill and tap gantry with m5 thread)leave middle carb alone set outer two to it don`t even have to remove tank, cool, oil cooler as standered, rapid acceleration, loads of character ,look after it though oil changes etc 4-5 grand (pounds)for a proper engine rebuild.............

  • farkin mint,,,mean!!!!

  • They like 5k rpms but 7k now you know what you are on.....that one is in fine tune sounds great .....they make some great electronics for them now ...mine are still points .....that one seems to running better than points? Does it have modern electronics?

  • looks similar to my 73, great looking bike!

  • Sweet as!

  • awesome machine well done, never did ride one, but rode the BSA rocket 3 in 1970 cheers.
