Great, I love the sense of fun you bring to this with the devil costumes. You could make it more of a dance as it's a little laboured, but it's such a tough piece to play. Wonderful music of course, and good to hear it with piano as it works well. Well done!

I think this is a fantastic performance of the song. Comparing it to a professionally recorded performance by professional musicians, of course the audio quality won't be as good, and the precision will be somewhat lacking, but Jesus, is the technical mastery of the instruments and the song all that we're listening for? I, for one, was greatly impressed by the musicianship of both players, and thoroughly enjoyed this video, regardless of the camera's effects on the sound. Bravo to both of you.

To antoniocmteixeira:
You're right, the violinist and pianist were excellent! And the performance was recorded on a Flip video. Not bad, I think.

Well I guess it's my turn. I enjoyed this performance a lot. Great piece, too.
Opinions are like assholes...

Really? I thought she did a suitable job for the (What I'm assuming is) a college performance. The pianist had some rough spots, but I didn't really hear anything that off about the violin, except for some occasional off patches... In fact, that piano sounds awful. Not exactly the fault of the player, but it sounds so bright on the top end, while the low notes sound all rumbly, which comes accross on the camera as warbly... Not very good quality. I think this was a home video... Just my 2 cents.

the violin is not okay...sorry
Thanks for the views and the comments, everyone! Sorry for the poor quality, this was recorded on a not-so-great camera, which messes with the sound a bit. Also, we only had about a week to learn the song before this recording, so it could have been a lot better. I appreciate the compliments though, the pianist and I are very pleased that this has gotten over 1,000 views!
