I mean, I think most if not all of them have read the books and are fans, but I don't think they were so into them that they would want to get sorted or read fanfic or listen to wizard rock or go to a Potter convention. Evanna's on another level entirely. She freakin' tweeted about how honored she was to be on stage with Harry and the Potters and the Whomping Willows - like she's the fangirl and they're the celebrities.

I've seen some of the Evanna stuff from Leakycon and her story is just amazing. From her struggle with the eating disorder to Harry (well, Luna) changing her life to becoming a cast member. I think what makes her special is that she is totally one of us crazy Potter geeks - she's just talented enough and fortunate enough to actually make it into the cast for the films.

"was" is correct because you said "every single person was." It would have been 'were' if you'd said "we all were."

@chocolatecauldrons Thank you! I had such crazy wonderful experiences at LeakyCon, I feel like I haven't processed half of them! As for the grammer, I think I was confused because I said, " ...every single persona in the elevator was ALL headed up to floor five." The "all" is was tricked me. It still sounds weird to my ears, but thanks for the tip. :)
