  • What record is that. Sounds good

  • Ahh this is a great track. It's Inner City (Kevin Saunderson) with Do You Love What You Feel. The album this is off of is Big Fun (which believe it or not, was by some considered to be the first Techno album)

  • @briansredd Have you heard of Kraftwerk

  • Oh yeah. They did crazy stuff even back in the 60's. then there's Hot Butter - Popcorn from 1971 that just reeks of techno.

Thing is, Techno was originally called Detroit Techno. It was a more synth sounding Chicago House with better overall production quality.

  • The closets of back are full of tapes? I have piles of tapes, but all of them are in a unique closet.

On the othe hand, your record player is very good to be used, for example, in a park.

  • Nah, thoes are al CDs

  • Thanks for the demo! Wondering how it sounds with headphones plugged in. I think at thrift stores they'd prefer that I use headphones with such a thing. Seems like a great thing to have when crate digging, especially when I'm finding some gems at a thrift store or in the crates at a record shop, but see that they are asking $1.99 or more per LP. Being able to listen to a few tracks would be a great way to keep from wasting my money on LPs that are duds.

  • @HaCkErGDS The only way I can interpret you is if you're talking about a warped record. Records are pressed flat and should play flat, if you play warped records on your turntable not only will they sound bad yet they'll wear your needle down. Warped records can be flattened however that can be tricky to do.

  • Are vinyls supposed to wobble up and down? I'm new to this

  • What is a good vinyl player for a low price and good/decent sound quality? I just need one to listen, don't care about sampling and digitalizing.

  • can you scratch to song off of you computer on turntables, or do you always have to have a record?

  • @DWilkins82 I even noticed that when I played with this model at a record shop that had it for listening booth purpose..i was like, whoa..what's up with this baby! I thought it was just because it was heavily used..?

  • @briansredd! i got this as a gift and thought for sure it was broken when the speaker wasn't working. but your explanation cleared everything up for me and it's wonderful now! much better than any explanation the company could give (in a non-timely manner) thanks so much!

  • You can hook up computer speakers thru the headphone jack (I have the Logitech Z313's hooked up to mine- around $35) & get a BIG sound with decent bass even.

The needle that comes with this is a sapphire needle. The company LP GEAR stocks a diamond needle replacement (which also fits the Vestax Handy Trax) for an improved sound quality.
