What you see historically in cultures governed by people claiming to be intelligent and progressive, is archetypal patterns of social organisation around the paradigm - the degree of knowledge held by one automatically translates into the value of knowledge held by one and, by the use of the device of law by groups sharing the same degree of knowledge, the value of knowledge is translated by esoteric language into the value of the group sharing it. One group becomes god to another and so on..

Laws are made by humans to legitimize selective control over the environment whereby one group will determine laws that restrict the strength or direction of other individuals or groups endeavours so that their volition meets less resistance in pursuing their endeavours. The device of man-made laws is arbitrarily used by those with greater knowledge to create a hierarchy of power based on the paradigm that knowledge is synonymous with intelligence. The reason for the existence of God is a simple one. To do with defining the purpose of all endeavour. Since volition is essentially self centred & our environment is populated by billions of life forms that have the same independent self centred volition, something outside of this volition has to be instilled in it that regulates the extent & rate to which it can physically impede on the existence of others in pursuit of its endeavours. Involves the mechanism of laws that are not ego friendly.

Just because you can't see him doesn't mean he's not there! being a christian and understanding what it teaches, gives us an insight to the world and what is going on that those who do not believe do not have! Horn's problem is that he doesn't apply reason to his beliefs regarding conspiracies and religion. And that's why he still remains deluded.
