prefer recurves myself. these new Compound bows are crazy, they are just awful, the way they look, and you have to use release aids on them cos otherwise they pinch your fingers, hoyt are the best bows though. those look like light eight arrows to make up for lack of poundage.

the poundage on that bow is 53 right now. supprisingly i used bare fingers on that bow and it doesn't hurt at all. when i shoot a recurve i shoot with bare fingers to. it might seem a little crazy but i like the feel better without useing one of those anyoying finger tabs.
