@Summer8383 Now if you'd said something like the use of conveyor-belt assembly lines by Henry T Ford yes that was a great idea but he himself didnt invent the conveyor belt. Or the invention of the modern electric guitar by Les Paul, Cash register was an American invention, William Hermanson invented the modern tea bag. Fire sprinkler, Solar cell, Autopilot, Vacuum Cleaner and Air Conditioner all American Inventions. Now if you'd said any of those id be like yeah those where great inventions.

@Summer8383 The Telephone was invented by Graham Alexander Bell a Scott not an American, Penicillin was invented by Alexander Fleming another Scott, Edward Anthony Jenner invented the small pox vaccine, TV was invented by John Logie Baird ANOTHER SCOTT, Jacquard Loom was an early example of a programmable device but Intel 4004 was the frist microprocessor, Timothy John Berners-Lee was the father of the world wide web, he was English. I just hate your arrogance, you can keep your ipad btw.

@Summer8383 Patriotism is good, but ignorance isn't. A good portion of those things you listed weren't invented by Americans, though some did play a part in their refinement or popularization. It's more promising to think that humans from all over the world collaborated to make those things better and better and better rather than to simply think nationalistically. Happy 4th!

America is the greatest nation on earth because American ingenuity created the light bulb, airplane, telephone, motion picture camera, TV, computer, internet, ipad, penicillin, vaccines for polo, small pox....ect...ect. America has created more of the technological & medical breakthroughs of the modern world than any other nation. So if you hate America & it's free market capitalism, you better stop using electricity & technology & go back to living in the dark ages or you are a hypocrite.
