  • What a great interview. I have followed Andrew Weil for a very long time. He is the future of medicine and healing and an absolute visionary regarding health. Thank you for the fabulous video!

  • @BartBVanBockstaele In my opinion, arrogant doctors who push pills before considering other options or giving supplemental instructions should be considered shit doctors. Weil doesn't say Western medicine is bad, the man is trained in it, but he does indeed see a problem with doctors who push pills. If you don't think medication is overprescribed in America you aren't paying attention to any aspect of how the system works.

  • @zelemont So instead, he promotes pill-pushing quacks. That makes a lot of sense, I guess. Especially to those who believe him.

As an aside, ever heard doctors complain about how patients react when they do NOT prescribe some type of pill or treatment?

  • @version191 I don't think so.

  • "in my opinion, the placebo effect is what medicine is all about". And this guy is blaming medicine for being paternalistic???

  • @gioojj I didn't make the phrase I just repeated it.

  • @nilbud why?

  • Its common sense that mental heath, diet and exercise habits are all factors in determining your overall health. He makes doctors out to be drug pushers that are somehow oblivious to these facts. Hes a charlatan

  • @nilbud Only trust men with beards! A man without a beard is like a woman with.
