The COLORrail™ IRC is an RGB LED linear wash/effect that uses 10mLEDs. The fixture is DMX controllable in up to 8 sections or the user can call upon a multitude of captivating auto and sound-activated programs. These programs include chases and runway effects that need to be seen to believed.

http://www.chauvetlighting.com/irc-infrared-remote-control.html Optional control is also available wirelessly from the IRC remote control with no DMX needed. Thanks to tightly packed and evenly distributed LEDs color mixing for wall washing occurs almost immediately after leaving the unit.

The COLORrail™ IRC is an eye-catching, multi-colored strip light with tons of applications. The user can control wireless via the easy to use IRC infrared remote control. (sold separately) Control up to eight different LED sections to create dazzling combinations of chases or use sophisticated, automated programs generate endless eye-catching effects. The fixtures user-configurable settings provide programming versatility and enhanced performance. As always power linking saves time running cables and extension cords. Awesome sound-activated programs dance and chase to the beat of the music. Trigger built-in automated programs via master/slave or DMX.

  • so is it EXACTLY the same thing except for the IRC?  Brightness wise too??

  • @PolishGuy89 - yes, it's exactly the same now it can be conveniently controlled with a remote. Also, see the response to @slaction below

  • why not make plugs on the side so that we can lay it flush on the ground for uplighting! haha just a thought.

  • @chauvetlighting - we should also note that if you have existing COLORrails you can purchase the upgraded “IRC” version and link via master slave with the older model. When you control the IRC version which should be the master than all of the Older versions will react the same. This is a huge plus!
