No, there's not. There is a V-cam or Virtual cam script that can be used with Flash. It is not built into the program. And there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of other scripts and indy developer components to extend the capabilities of Flash. As far as teaching the fundamentals of the program, that stuff doesn't exist. You have to teach whats straight out of the box, because thats what new learners get, and you can't expect someone new students to start using advanced scripts right away.

actually, there is a camra in flash, it's called V-cam and it does the exact same thing as the camra you demonstrated.

good lessons. The adjustable Z-depth alone is enough to convince me to switch over to TB animate. I hate having to constantly change what layer my symbols are on.

toon boom looks like it my be a better program. I still use Flash Cs4
