I have seen a lot of people in the Network Media Tank forums asking how to make the Popcorn Hour hard drive visible to their Vista PC. It is very easy, and once set up, allows for easy copy pasting files to and from your Popcorn Hour. See the video below for instructions.

  • @thebikerboi2 User restrictions may be enabled on the hard drive.

  • Ok yeah I know how to do this but has anyone had the same problem I've had where you can open files and play videos from the hard disk but cannot cut, copy or paste to or from the network

  • Hiya what did you put your setting for your popcorn to be seen with windows.

  • This is only assuming that the popcorn hour is already detected on the network. For this you should see the device in my network places already...What about if the device isn't listed there? What is the default share name?

  • i use win 7 and it says it can acces pch-a110

does anybody know how to connect it with win 7 ?

  • those computers must be in same network....

  • it says that the device is not ready... =(

  • thanx

  • to me it only comes network.. how do i get those other?! :O

  • what? Are you having issues with the popcorn hour reading external harddrives? or Are you having issues having your computer to read the harddrive when you connect it to it with USB?
