Nope, all the armies are new and the world appears to be a completely different one from the original games.

I actually like the dark theme now...it's fitting for a world at war anyway.
The battle animations looks great too.

Damn i liked the colourful and happy theme (even though you killing people)... i luv advance wars but i dont think this dark theme is going to be so good

This game looks great but i suck at turn based strategy games, i couldn't beat mission 12 in advanced wars dual strike.
