  • Throughout human history old men in power have ordered young men who to go off and fight for "freedom", "honor", and all that other BS when really they are fighting to fortify the old man's power. And we can leave Iraq anytime we want, the fact is, we just don't WANT to. But the old power brokers drool over the oil and the resources, so we are not going anywhere unless we get thrown out.

Lots of enslaved starving people all over the world. Why Iraq? Because the are standing on oil. Get real!

  • @jhudsfo Oh please, someone has been filling your head with lies.

    FACT #!

We have not recieved one drop of oil from Iraq.

    FACT #2

We cannot leave. Ever since WWI we learned we cannot destroy a nations ability to defend itself and walk away. It created a vacuum for Hitler. Colin Powell had it right, you break it you fix it. Why do you think Obama, Mr. Iraq mistake still has troops over there?

    Be real and get educated.

  • It was a lie by the Bush cabal that brought us to Baghdad. The claim of freedom is ridiculous. Just more war rhetoric to inflate self justification for murder. I respect the mans sacrifice but not the cause. President Obama should be addressed as such. You lecture on the obligations of the Government but then refer to the President as " Obama". This is disrespectful at best.

  • #1 I suggest you watch a video in my Iraq folder - All the Dems saw Saddam as a threat too - it wasn't a lie. We can debate whether it was a mistake all day, but once Congress approved the action - WE'RE IN!!! WE'RE STUCK. Our troops were used for political power.

#2 Certainly there's more freedom in Iraq now then under Saddam - don't you agree?

#3This piece was made BEFORE President Obama was the President - no disrespect for the office was intended.

  • @weneedmccain I cannot tell you how wrong you are, it's impossible. Iraq is a member of OPEC and is an exporter of oil the United States, just like all the other OPEC members are.

  • @zegatone It is highly doubtful that the civilian helicopters we gave them could be outfitted to chemical weapons. I dont see how it could happen and I havent found any info on it. If you can provide something to prove it then I will beleive it.

  • @zegatone reagan is also not a dictator, that is just you ranting and is not fact. If you can prove what your saying then it will make sense, please put down a link to the source so I may read it in context. Also, we assisted the terrorist groups before they were labeled terrorists and we viewed them as freedom fighters. It became more of a proxy war when we gave them equipment to fight the soviets. Also we only gave them conventional (mostly small arms) weapons. To the "terrorists" that is

  • @impossibleispossib13
