Over 50 hours spent in construction and review of different cinder block rocket stoves for disaster preparedness, emergency response, and survival situations. The colored red blocks wore much quicker and were more fragile than the gray pebble blocks. The trick seems to be air flow which is stimulated by greater height or lift, some versions worked well with small twigs and burned very hot while other versions worked with large branches and maintained a heat source over a long period of time with little effort. In the later case it could be useful for a triage situation where water is boiled and kept sterile. Also one design had potentials for baking as well. Please check out these sites:

  • Rocket stove Fail!

  • @mannhorn34 Thanks, I think... normally I do not care much for proper English but I must admit this statement here is confusing, a bit.

  • There's something that would work well here! And I have tons of fuel! (literally).

  • @SmokeyGoodness hehe, glad you find it useful!

  • I WONDER HOW GASIFIED WOOD SMOKE BURNED IN A COMBUSTION CHAMBER COULD BE USED TO MAKE PRESSURE THAT WOULD TURN A TESLA TURBINE? IT WOULD NEE DTO BE ABLE TO TUN A COMPRESSOR TO KEEP THE SMOK/ FUEL INSIDE THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER BUT THIS WOULD ALSO DRAW THE SMOKE DOWN THROUGH THE COAL BED AND THE FILTER MEDIA TO CRATE A COMBUSTIABLE HYDROGEN METHANE MIXTURE. MIGHT BE QUIETERT THAN REGULR GENERATOR.

  • i did one big one on my patio blocks, turned out great, i topped it off with the red paver stones u spoke of- they worked great as a platform to rest my meats and utensils, the oven grates i found in a stove on the side of the road worked like a charm, i made meals for crowd! thanks for sharing, i like your videos,
