not that it really matters seeing as i think the film is excellent, but i think there is a lot of real footoage mixed in with scenes like banksy hanging his fake art in the museum. while im sure he really does that it would be rather conspicious to be filmed while doing it
I have no idea why people think it's fake either. Some of the 'fakery' talk assumes that because the film's clearly making a point about how worthless and vapid many people's value judgements are, it must be a 'joke.' As if it can't be making that point through REAL footage.
I don't know either way. I'm just waiting for the Phil Ochs documentary to come out.
The only documentary I can't be sure is real is Troma's Story of a Junkie. I once spray painted an anarchy sign behind an art gallery building at a young age. That's my crappy contribution the to graffiti scene. lol
I just checked out the movie and the one thing that got me to think it might be bogus is the second camera crew at the gallery where banksy was putting up his art in the nice frames. That happened before he met MBW and banksy said he never let anyone film him before. There are a lot of second crew shots throughout the movie when he said it was just him and the camera and there's a shot of him holding a camera. Cool movie just the same.

Great video, Alex. I'll -- of course -- have to see it sometime.

the last clip in the opening credits was so awesome. Where the guy jumps up onto the crosswalk to avoid the cops. AWESOME
