  • Real cool idea- I used Carmex and it has similar burning qualities, but a little more expensive than the Murray's Beezwax. While in the Army; I also used hand sanitizer, which is good for starting a fire, but does not last near as long- Cool- Keep up the good work and tips-

  • I found if you mix a little rubbing alcohol with some liquid candle wax just right you get a nice flammable paste that burns hot and lasts quite a while. It also solidifies quiet well.

  • i use beeswax all the time. i love the stuff! it also makes a great coating for metal to prevent it from rusting.
