john rah atheist perspective on moses exodus chapter 01

before moses came to be, things had gone from very good to very bad for the children of israel. they had come to egypt after the slave boy joseph had taken over command of the country.

joseph and the pharaoh set up the israelites with land while the land and all the wealth was taken from the eqyptians.

so the hebrews got rich. the pharaoh got stinking rich and in control of the land.

according to the story.

and when the new pharaoh came along and joseph and all his family was dead and their children's children covered the land.

and i think we've had this story a few times. where one bunch of people become very rich at the cost of many others.

and we know what happens when that happens. someone like moses comes along and wages war and the war lords get to have their fun. and the peasants are used as play things.
