Crazy Horse Monument Rises

A sculpture is being carved out of a mountain in South Dakota to honor the American Indian. As Mark Strassmann reports, they've been carving this sculpture for more than half a century.

It amazes me how people like to say the memorial is some blight by the white man, when the idea was wholly conceived by Chief Henry Standing Bear and supported by his fellow Sioux chiefs to let "the white man to know that the red man has great heroes, too."
