It should be noted that all soldiers are inspected before they go on parade, i.e., they wouldn't have been allowed to go on parade if something were missing or off.

The cymbalist WAS wearing his white buff belt!
It's just that you can't see it because he's wearing a protective red apron over his tunic. The same goes for all tuba, euphonium, saxophone, bass drum and bassoon players due to constant contact of the instrument against the chest.
As for the running soldier, he had just run from behind the column to provide the escort for the officer. That's why he's holding his rifle differently from the others; he then later slopes arms.

No, he had just run from behind the column and slows down to a shuffle so that he can get back in step.
The reason why the other escort did not have to run is because they were going round a corner.

Windsorsoldiers, indeed, on the first part of the video it is the Senior Drum Major Tony Moors, Grenadier Guards. The other day it is a Welsh Guardsman, presumable Drum Major Steve O'Brien.
In the Quadrangle, the quick march on entering is one of Kenneth Alford, but I cant' remember the name. damn.
