That's slightly confusing. The region is called ITV1 Yorkshire, isn't it? Yet the long-standing news brand now clumsily mixes that up as though the region is called Calendar.

Sorry, but I do not like it. It looks too small and maybe even create claustrophobia (okey, okey... maybe not).

@GMTVREMEMBER The titles don't really need to change, however it would be nice to see the bright image that is shown in the studio incorporated onto the title card.

@GMTVREMEMBER At first it was thought new titles like the animation on the screens on the new presentation area, but it has been confirmed they will just be tweaked like the graphics

@tvworldvideo doubt they will get new titles or music as they don't have the money - the current music will be with us a couple of years yet I think - look at how GMTV kept the same music on avg 3-4 years, though the 2000 gmtv music was used for 9 years

I'm probably the only one who did, but I actually liked the dark non-views of the first few weeks, when they used to put the coloured panels infront of the windows to brighten it up a bit. It gave it a nice early morning atmosphere.
But I can fully understand why they had to ditch that look, and this is a rather neat solution. It wouldn't have cost much either, as it makes good use of the set that was already in place.
I agree with DanDavies2011 though, it's a bit awkward how they move later on.

@97channel No it was dark, first they tried to fix it with light pannels, yellow and to cluttered, then came blinds yellow again and to bright, now they have the perfect solution. When they can use the view they will, when it gets to dark the haul show will be from the video wall. Also if you haven't noticed they are moving away from purple and yellow, to a more Orange, Yellow, Red and Blue mix.
