    The two other destroyers come out of hyperspace to intercept the Millenium Falcon, the original one was on a pursuit course.

    If you look the edges have already over lapped, ( the command tower( of the pursuing destroyer - the one seen from the inside ) is level with the ridge of the incoming one by the time the furthest corner of the incoming destroyer would have reached the pursuing one, it would have knocked the command tower out - resulting having to take evasive action :)

    I never understood how nobody noticed that the two Star Destroyers were on a collision course. Were both drivers asleep?
