Wow. First I have heard of this young tenor. What a powerful, emotional voice. Great stage presence, marvelous reading of the material. Even his Italian is impressive. Bravo. JD

Very nice voice. Sings with both passion and intelligence.
Based on this recording, the orchestra was too loud. I wonder if the director
has read the libretto. Alfredo is singing about the ecstasy of love. His
casual poster on the sofa and reading of a newspaper seem inappropriate.
And what happened to Violetta's country house? Looks more like a
tenement.

Give me Carreras anytime of day or night, MUCH more expressive and the audience knew it too!

He is really gifted, it's so easy for him!
Even so, he's got some difficulty with his breath when the tempo is fast but it's still unbelievable.
I think it's one of the most beautiful tenor voice I've heard.

I don't like the staging (am rather a fuddy-duddy regarding such stuff), but this young man sings very well indeed -- a full, strong lyric voice -- he's so good that I don't miss the often-interpolated high note at the scene's end:) --- I hope he takes his time with his career, avoiding the heavy roles for at least the near future --
