Rival Schools are a guitar-driven rock band fronted by Walter Schreifels, formerly of New York band Quicksand. This post-hardcore act gained a cult following with their debut album United by Fate in 2001, but disbanded soon after. After a decade-long hiatus, Rival Schools are back with Pedals, newly released last month and favorably reviewed by NME and the BBC, and recently featured on MTV News's #MusicMonday. They played an acoustic set for us live in our studio; the results are unlike anything you may have already heard from the fourtet. The band is currently on tour in Europe, with upcoming West Coast dates in May.

So happy to see you gentleman back! "Small Doses" is my favorite song of the year and your very unique style is distant from genres I usually fall in love with. Love my signed Pedals print from the promo you did online. Don't go away again! Ryan - Berkeley
