"The NATO bombing of Albanian refugees near Djakovica (Giakove) occurred on April 14, 1999 when NATO planes repeatedly bombed refugee movements over a twelve-mile stretch of road between Djakovica and Decani in western Kosovo, killing 73 civilians. Human Rights Watch found no basis to support the claims by NATO that the convoys themselves were composed of military vehicles.

The attack began at 1:30 p.m. and persisted for about two hours, causing civilian deaths in numerous locations on the convoy route near the villages of Bistrazin, Gradis, Madanaj, and Meja. ..."

  • The Highway of Death - Kosovo War edition...

A pilot of a British WWII 'Mosquito' bomber would maybe confuse a tractor with a tank if being too tired to look through the window, while a pilot of an F-16 with it's fancy optronics... Well...

False flag operations; They all fail eventually...

Only some fail before serving their purpose...

  • @Orthodoxcrusader Even fancy optronics aren't mistakeproof if you are ordered to fly at 12000 feet (3657 m) - out of range of Serbian antiaircraft weapons. NATO will have to live with this and other tragic mistakes made all over Yugoslavia in 1999. These kinds of stains on their reputation they can never erase. Whether they killed Albanian or Serbian civilians (examples are numerous through this war) it's all the same.

  • @historiands Friendly fire and collateral damage is part of war i agree. Yet the Albanians were our side so it's technically friendly fire in a sense to them. When NATO and USAF does it, everyone bitches about it, yet almost nothing is said when Serb and Yugoslavia forces killed Bosnian Muslims and Albanian troops.

But i agree with your whole statement.

  • @historiands

And all this fancy tech is not that new... Everything was used in the First gulf War also...

Except B-2... The most modern bomber ever designed... What are the aiming and target acquisition on that aircraft we can only assume... Can it miss? Well I don't think so... B-2 dropped the majority of bombs in 99 hitting the targets that were mainly civilian... It can't really be a mistake...

  • @historiands

Any modern tank can identify a type of target at 5 kilometers and engage it with kinetic penetrator or beam riding missile...

An Apache can identify the type of target at well over 10 kilometers and can engage it with a hellfire missile at just something less than 10km with pin point accuracy as the projectile can correct it's trajectory(unlike a bullet)

Optronics on Apache and M1A2 are amazing; yet not merely comparable to those in ground attack and bomber USAF aircraft...

  • @historiands

Well AH-64 takes out it's targets from 3 kilometers using it's chain gun(30 millimeter cannon)... Despite the fact gas propelled projectile will not be able to correct it's trajectory changed by variations in temperature and wind it still hit's it's targets in a radius of several meters... What can be evidenced in the infamous 'collateral murder' video or many others where the helicopter engaged targets at high range using 30mm gun...

  • I'm sure "Serb Controlled TV Pool" doesn't give any hint away as how this may be propaganda.

    Just sayin'

  • HEHE...Mistakenly dropped a bomb ...;D

  • HEHE...Mistakenly dropped a bomb ...;D

  • FUCK NATO from Russia
