A mesmerizing portrait of the artist Anselm Kiefer by acclaimed documentarian Sophie Fiennes (THE PERVERT'S GUIDE TO CINEMA), OVER YOUR CITIES GRASS WILL GROW is part tribute and part deconstruction; aided by beautiful widescreen cinematography, Fiennes captures the majesty of Kiefer's architectonic installations alongside observational footage of his work process.
@TheDamnSpot: Ideas need to be given form (or in the case of visual art, be made physical) in order for us to communicate effectively with one another. Simply having an idea isn't much use if you're an artist. Ideas need to be realised. How else can one go about this without making a painting, sculpture etc?

@KarawHesangh1000 I'm assuming you're talking about my comment, not art. Uh, I spent many decades filtering chemicals through my brain and countless hours watching lol-cat videos to become this stupid. Frankly it was hard work so I'm really happy that you've noticed :)

I understand what you are saying TheDamnSpot but sometimes the mistakes that happen during the process expand and stimulate more ideas and then art......

Reminds me of something I've been thinking a lot about lately. What if (against popular mainstream Christian belief) the Bible is actually warning about global warming?

Frankly it doesn't impress me. I've never thought much of art, to me ideas are what's interesting. Ideas build cities and civilizations. Enlightenment springs from ideas.
