Dyan Poison to star as VAMPIRA, hosting Wednesday's movie night at Mainline for Mascara & Popcorn

Dyan Poison, a well-known local figure in Montreal's vibrant nightlife and club scene (model, bartender, hostess, promoter), stars as Vampira v2011 and will host Wednesday's local short movie night at Mainline Theatre for the Mascara & Popcorn Festival. Dyan plays the role of Vampira v2011 (a movie created by Danielle Bédard where Dyan reprises the role of the iconic Vampira, as seen in vintage movies and TV shows) almost as if the role was tailor-made for her. Set in a popular blue-collar neighbourhood, a setting that clearly clashes with Vampira v2011's elegance, impressive physique, gothic beauty, big screen personality and exquisite demeanor, Vampira v2011 offers a modern take on a cult TV and movie icon of the past.

Dyan Poison will be hosting Wednesday's edition of Mascara & Popcorn. Short movies by local filmmakers will be presented throughout that night, an event not to be missed. The premiere of Vampira v.2011 along with other local short gems on Wednesday, July 6th at Mainline Theatre.
