Very popular on Pittsburgh radio (Porky Chedwick) in th early '60's. I bought my copy in 1964 or '65 on Arlen. It is still one of my all time favorite slow sounds.

You got yourself a great record.. Although I've seen it printed in one of the books as the 2nd, I believe Arlen is the first label for this

Unless I'm losing my mind I definitely hear the lead go out of tune in a few spots, but I love it. It's a part of the humanity of this music, and you're right - this is a damn soulful effort.

Jerry Blavat made this super popular in Philly in the early '60's. Gina is the 2nd pressing. I bought my copy at the Record Museum.
