IN THIS VIDEO, watch as an AV-8B Harrier performs over Atlantic City. Take particular note of the hovering portion of the demonstration, as it was performing about 300 feet in front of me, and I took the chance to go into the water and get closer and closer to the aircraft. You are being treated to a performance without any narration, but you will get to hear the airboss call the show.

I believe it starts putting out smoke when water injection begins. The water injection is used to help cool the engine iirc.

i got to the one at jones beach on long island and i get to see is the poopiey blue angels but the f-16 does make a hell of a loud noise and those blue angel pilets really kno what they are doing
