The 'Red Nose' television commercial (TVC) is a part of the Apollo Munich 'Let's Uncomplicate' campaign. Apollo Munich Health Insurance, a standalone health insurance company, is a joint venture between Munich Health and Apollo Group of Hospitals. The company aims to be the trusted leader in health insurance by providing innovative solutions to the citizens of India. Apollo Munich has taken several steps to Uncomplicate health insurance in the country by adopting Simple language, clear policies, transparent procedures and innovative products, thus making health insurance the way it ought to be. The Company can therefore say 'We know Healthcare, We Know Insurance' with pride.
This particular commercial has been designed with the aim of promoting one of the key feature of the Apollo Munich products —easy access to more than 10,000 doctors.
The ad starts with doctors hastening off on multicolored scooters to reach a patient as soon as possible. The ad highlights the ease with which a policy holder can select a doctor from the best doctors in the field. It portrays the eagerness that the Company has to help customers whenever they face any sort of a medical problem. The whole focus is on the customer and how the company would go all-out for them.
The TVC moves on to a little girl. She comes out of the house with a sad look on her face and with a thermometer in her mouth. The girl's frown turns into a smile when she the doctor of her choice—the doctor with the 'Red Nose'—jumps up from behind the other doctors. It shows the annoyance that illness causes and the joy that one has when they see that they have so many choices to get better. Customers have the choice of selecting the doctor that they need and from the hospital of their choice. Apollo Munich puts the smile back on the face with the treatment options that they provide.
The company gives customers the choice of over 4000 hospitals to select from. The company has rightly used the girl and the thermometer with the red-nose doctor. Each of them has significance. The girl with the thermometer, a child, represents the customers who are never fond of illness and need treatment that is best suited to them. The doctors depict the healthcare options that insured customers have from Apollo Munich. The 'Red Nose' doctor gives customers the confidence that the doctor that they select would bring the smile back on their face.
