yo bro what happends is the engine gets at to high rpm for the cam and the cam breaks and the rod shoots through the block and it just fucks it all up.. I had the same problem on a 327 I held it at 9 grand mudding lol and same shit I fixed it by not going cheap lol I now have 45k miles on a new motor I built and it gets pushed every day... good luck have fun
