The Bible says that we have got three parts to our body (a picture of the Trinity)body,soul and spirit.When the rapture happens,our soul will go up to meet the Lord in the air,our bodies will stay on earth-flesh and blood can not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.Our spirit will go back to God who gave it.The Bible says in a moment in the twinkling of an eye we shall all be changed-1 Corin 15.If the people are already dead then their bodies will raise and they will be changed.

Actually we are made up of 3 things,a replica of the Godhead,we are made body,soul and spirit,when we die our body goes to the grave,our spirit goes back to God who gives life and our soul goes to either Heaven or Hell,depends on whether or not we are saved.

I think that the bible was written before "175 years ago" And i believe what bible says, not what a human being says, and the bible speak about the rapture, not a person named Margaret :S.

Depends, because in 1 Corinthians 15-it tells us that the dead in Christ shall rise first and that all shall be changed-why would you need to have a change in spirit-this must be physical. Look at Luke 16-could a spirit eat and drink? Not likely. Physical resurrection.
