Great song--I love John Prine, and I heard him do this live in Portland. Interesting, though, that this video seems to show Obama and Clinton (among others) in a negative way, but when the lyrics said, "...some cowboy from Texas starts his own war in Iraq," there was no picture of Bush, whom JP was most certainly referencing. By and large, this was an idictment of the Obama administration (as well as many Islamic leaders/countries), not the Bush administration, who started the war in Iraq.

The song is fantastic but the video gets two major thumbs down for missing the whole point entirely and trying to pervert and exploit a perfectly wonderful song to advance anti Islamic, GOP, tea party propaganda. John Prine would have to say WTF!

@janviermatic Thank you! If I were Mr. Prine, I would probably be pissed off because some nobody made a video using his song, with a message that flies in the face of what he wrote! I mean, really?? I am not into trolling, and I try to ignore haters, but the dude who made this video is clearly deluded, if he thinks that what he came up with conveys the message that JP was trying to relay.
