Let's continue "What GSN used to be" Week with a 1989 soap opera special of the daytime Family Feud.

It's a battle of CBS soaps, actually, as the Young & the Restless (with Lauralee Bell, Doug Davidson, Jess Walton, Stephen Gregory, and Melody Thomas-Scott) battle the Bold & the Beautiful (Teri Ann Linn, John McCook, Daniel McVicar, Lauren Koslow, and Ethan Wayne) try to win $5,000 for their charities. Who will get that chance?

Actually, I'm glad GSN doesn't air this anymore. I really hate Combs Feud. Didn't think he was a good host.

Oh and for DWTS ratings. First rerun block = Somewhat good. The repeats = Stink worse than my septic tank

And I did see the ratings report. It did no better than 17th on the network! Guess the target audience had better things to do. Like stare at the wall. :-D

I am a Young and the Restless fan and looooooooved Family feud when the soaps battled each other. I think the Young and the Restless are the remaining "soap" champions of the Family Feud. Now Y&R against The Price Is Right...that's another discussion by itself. Wish GSN would air ALL celebrity Family Feud specials.....

@32rodrick B&tB actually started in March 23, 1987, the same week as Y&R's 14th Anniversary.

And this year will mark its 25th Anniversary on the air!

B&B and Y&R are taped in that same building. Y&R is taped in 41 and 43 across from 33 and B&B is in 31 next door. Is that right?
