"Facing the Truth" - a powerful 30-min movie about HIV - has just won a major award in the US, a FREDDIE, against tough international competition.

It has already been shown twice on Cambodian TV but when the award was announced CTN asked to broadcast it again at peak time.

Finally, a movie without khmer dubbing over khmer movies!! I cant stand the dubbing...no matter how good the movie is, I cannot watch it. This is na great movie! :) Great job KMF!!!!!!! Keep it up! :)

@nitronboyz It's a language thing. you should see what native Cambodian's call a "masin" or machine. it means motor. not all machines are motor, but if it's not a motor they don't call it a "masin" Borrowed words are like that, but they also call HIV "hew", but " meirook aid" is the most common name they whould use for both the disease, it means "aids germ" if translated directly

The movie is perfect advertisement for all the medical fields. The big Pharma would live to help promote this movie.

Funny, everytime they said the word AIDS, the subtitle said, HIV.

Those those diseases are sometimes in connection and sometimes it does.

HIV is a virus causing the HIV disease.

AIDS is a condition causing by over 29 diseases.

Sometimes a person has AIDS never has HIV. HIV ALONE does not cause AIDS, even though sometimes HIV infected person also has AIDS.
