Wow, what music and groove!!! Bass players create great music and have great mucisianship. If there is no bass, there is no soul.

The great Anthony Rules.

I think Anthony will be the next Nathan East (fourplay)
-
Flea is better than the 3 of them together

@JPastorius3 If you think AJ lacks emotion.. I'm really sorry.. But anthony jackson is one of my most respected bassist, not only for this technical abilities and phrasing, but more importantly for the emotions he puts into every note of his playing. Check out "Not Yet" by Michel Camilo and New York Band on youtube
Thanks

To me, AJ's music lacks the (I hate this term) x factor and edge that people can bring by using the basics, simplicity and repetition, repeating and improving. This is what impresses me when I hear Victor Wooten and Victor Bailey play and talk about music. They understand the basics, they use the basics, they then expand when they feel it works. To me, AJ just doesn't have the feeling, or the emotion that I can hear and feel in the Victor's music.

Wooten destroys the bass. He embarrasses Bailey and Jackson.

@Bassman3113 LOL... they are not the ones that should be embarrassed. Look and listen deeper.
