@Bonnofowler yes, alah is the plural of alahym, but it has two spelings. אלה 'alah (Hebrew) contains the alaph and the alaph has a sound like 'a' is in what. עלה `alah (Muslim) contains the ayn and the ayn has a sound like 'ah, as in hot. So there is a difference in the Hebrew 'alah, and the Muslim `alah. I am trying to upload the Yiddish busters for Israel within the coming weeks.
So is alah the singular version of Alahim? And is Yasrael the real word for isreal?
