As a 43 year old male, living in the US, I'd have to say this guy makes some great points about religion. "God" is in all of us, and we all have that power. I think he is a smart man, and uses the media to get a point across. "Look, we create mayhem and kill in the name of an evil being"...How different is that from going around the world and killing in the name of some other supreme being....?

I don't kno shit about Gaahl or black metal, but after seeing him speak, I can't understand why people fear him. To me, he's less scary than the Pope or those snake handling Baptist preachers. Ya can't argue with what he says. He seems like a typical, hospitable, rural Norwegian. I'd drink and bullshit with him.
