5B's 2011 Competition Flyer

Are you in the NYC area and about putting your reps in? If so, then come join us for the 5B's 13th annual, "Body Built Beautiful By the Bar" Pull Up Park Jam. This event takes place on August 20th (rain date Aug. 27th) at Lincoln Terrace Park located on the corner of Buffalo & East New York Aves in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

The Pull up Park Jam is a intensively competitive affair where four weight classes(Light Weight, Mid Weight, Heavy Weight, and Super Heavy Weight) compete in five exercises(Pull ups, Push ups, Sqauts, Dips, and Sit ups) performed & judged in full range of motion for 2 minutes each. Winners recieve trophies, metals, and overall cash prizes. All participants receive T-shirts. August 20th, registration begins at 9am, competition starts at 12pm, music & refreshments available. The rules will be announced & demonstrated before the competition begins. This is a peaceful event showcasing strength & unity, please come with that in mind & heart and leave the negativity elsewhere. Come participate, Come spectate, Come support! I don't understand...I thought it was full lockouts?? It's not cool when u have a competitor doing full lock outs good form..N then that competitor losing to someone that is doing full lockouts .. Full lockout is alll the way down...lockout** very disappointed..still love tho mayb nx time it will b legit*
