@DaniboyBR2 Hey dipshit, you can't eat weed to keep yourself alive when the stores all go belly up. Grab a newspaper and read what's going on around you while you blaze that splif!!

:D That's so good to know. Why is it that some t5 lights online are so expensive? What makes one (4 bulb, 2' T5 grow light) 150$ and another one 350$?

@DaniboyBR2 hey dumbass! where you going to get the food when you get the munchies? this is why people on weed need to have a caregiver, just so they dont kill themselves. on second thought, just go with it. ignore the bright light and the heat and the blast wave... is nothing of importance.

Have you tried growing small fruit with these bulbs, mainly interested in raspberries or dwarf blueberries? Also is that T light socket, or just a single, thanks!

How's the heat output on those CFL units?

@bubbadogg1 you actually can eat cannabis to survive it contains all the things the body needs
Is there any danger of starting a fire with these sorts of homemade lights? Has it ever happened to you? I'd be reticent about leaving home with them on...

@DiamondNotch There's a chance of fire from the CFL burning out but that goes for every CFL in your home. I've been running this light since 2008 and hundreds of other people have made them.

Thanks so much for answering : ) Hey, do you think 4000 lumens (t5) is enough to start seedlings if I kept it a few inches above them, or should I go for something a bit stronger?
DiamondNotch 1 week ago
@DiamondNotch Oh yeah, a T5 will be plenty. For seedlings you can just get a T8 shop light with two 6500k bulbs and that would work great too. They are only $10 for the fixture and $6 or so for the bulbs at Walmart.
