This is an incredible commercial made in 1968 for an insulation material called "Super Insulation." I think it is fabulous how direct and informative the ad is.

There is an interesting back-story to where I got all these TV spots:

While working in a TV studio in 1999, I met a very strange, eclectic old man who had a collection of vintage, rare and off-color television spots that he had been collecting in his 40+ years of working in television studios. They were professionally archived from film, so the quality of these images is grainy and discolored-- but also very true to the era.

I begged and pleaded to let me have a copy, and *voila* -- I have a copy.

There are dozens of crazy spots on this tape. I will upload as many as YouTube can stomach.
